MAN MURDERED, DIES AT HOSPITAL AFTER SHOOTING

Darrius Brooks, 20, was murdered on November 29, 2022 on Sadler Road Charlotte, NC. Marquis Grier, 45, is charged with the murder of Darrius.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers discovered Darrius with a gunshot wound. Medics transported Darrius to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Darrius was pronounced deceased from his injuries a short time later. Marquis was arrested and charged with murder.
