Robert Sullivan, 43, was found dead on March 3, 2023 on Colony Road Charlotte, NC. Robert was the general contractor and project superintendent of a construction job site in or near the parking deck where he was found dead.
Around 11 a.m. 2 employees were taking a smoke break in the parking garage on the 1st floor. They heard an engine revving very loudly.
They saw Robert in a truck and then went over to check on him. Robert appeared to be asleep, they tried waking him up, when Robert didn’t wake up, the employees reached into his truck window to check his pulse and found he had no pulse. The employees called 911.
Police officers responded to the parking deck in reference to an assist medic 911 call. Robert had been found dead in his truck in the parking deck.
A renovation/upfit construction project was being performed in the parking deck or very close to the deck. Robert was the general contractor and project superintendent for the work site.
911 advised that medic and fire were assisting an unresponsive male. Emergency responders performed CPR on Robert.
Robert was taken to Atrium Hospital Southpark where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff due to natural reasons.
