On March 27, 2023 several crooks dressed in black broke into the Morganton Honda car dealership in Morganton, NC at 3:30 a.m.
The crooks stole $150,000 worth of vehicles including a Cadillac Escalade and 2 BMW’s. The thieves approach the entrance and break the glass doors with a sledge hammer.
The suspects then break into the key case and take key fobs for vehicles. The thieves then press the fobs to see which vehicle lights up.
A suspect gets into a vehicle on the showroom floor and drives it through the glass doors. The other vehicles are outside in the parking lot that corresponded with the key fobs.
The suspects then get in those vehicles and drive off.
