Police have arrested Aaron Troy Williams, 47, on charges of indecent exposure for two alleged separate instances that occurred in Charlotte, NC in April 2023. The first case occurred on Sunday, April 2, 2023, on Marble Street. The suspect was allegedly observed by people in public view exposing himself while sitting in his SUV on city streets.
The second case occurred Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at apartments on Fairwood Avenue. The suspect was again in his SUV allegedly touching himself with his garments pulled down.
A female saw the behavior and began video recording.Members of the community reported crucial information about the crimes after witnessing the incidents in person or on a video that circulated on social media. Detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtain a warrant for each instance.
The suspect was arrested at his Huntersville residence shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Aaron is charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure.
