On October 6, 2023 a male victim identified as Jkarri Anderson was shot and killed at his job. Jkarri worked at the Wendy’s restaurant on WT Harris Blvd in the 3700 block near West Sugar Creek Road in Charlotte, NC.
At 5:30 p.m. Jkarri and one of his Wendy’s co-workers got into a fight on the job in the Wendy’s. During the fight, Jkarri was shot. The gunfire terrified customers in the restaurant and in the drive-thru.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and took Jkarri to the hospital. Jkarri died after arriving at the hospital. No arrests have been made, as detectives are working to see if the shooting death was justified.
Just last week a shooting occurred at a Taco Bell in Charlotte where a customer shot an employee.
