Jakkael Best, 26, was arrested on October 14, 2023 charged with the murder of Simon Semere, 24, in Charlotte, NC.
Simon was shot and killed on October 11, 2023, at 5:00 a.m. on Wenda Place in Charlotte. Officers arrived on scene and Simon was declared dead.
3 days later Jakkael was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
