A fatal motor vehicle crash took the life of Arnoldo Mendez Perez, 34, on October 14, 2023. The crash occurred on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC.
At 9:43 p.m., the driver of a Lexus was driving west on Central Avenue approaching Rosehaven Drive. Arnoldo was on foot crossing Central Avenue.
The front of the Lexus struck Arnoldo on his left side in the left travel lane.
Officers responded to the scene and found Arnoldo seriously injured in the road. Arnoldo was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
