The suspect has a perm and is headed to male general population prison for child sexual assault. Not a good combination
Erick Jamison, 42, was found guilty of having sexual relations with a under aged teenager in Charlotte, NC in September 2026.
In 2022, Jamison encountered the 14-year-old victim named Carrie at a Shell gas station in Charlotte.
Multiple meetups with the minor victim were arranged with Jamison. Carrie was sexually assaulted. These assaults occurred repeatedly over a period of about a year and a half when the victim was 15 years old.
The victim’s mother found a journal in which Carrie had written about the assaults, the matter was eventually reported to police. In an interview with detectives, Jamison admitted meeting Carrie at the Shell gas station.
Text messages were used as evidence against Jamison. Jamison was arrested in 2023.
In September 2026 Jamison was convicted of statutory sex offense with a child and three counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Jamison was sentenced to two consecutive sentences of 180- 276 months in prison each, totaling 360-552 months in prison. Jamison must also register as a sex offender for 30 years. Jamison is now appealing the conviction.
