Cedric advocated for civil rights and human rights. He spoke at events that represented Africa also. Cedric broke his leg in 2020 from unknown causes.
On June 6, 2026 Cedric was found dead hanging from a tree at a park in Harrisburg, NC. Police investigated and determined that no foul play was involved. However, it is very unusual that many black people have been found dead hanging from trees recently in the United States, and cops have all said that there was no foul play in the deaths.
It is not known how long Cedric’s body was dead in the woods hanging from the tree, but he was likely seen by a park goer.
Right now the case is classified as a suicide.
