Pablo De Jesus Romero, 65, was arrested on July 11, 2026 accused of putting a hidden camera in the bathroom of a residence he rented out to sexy women in Charlotte, NC.
A woman named Luisa was renting a room out from Pablo in Charlotte. The woman was taking a shower one day and noticed a hidden camera disguised as a USB-C block in the bathroom.
The victim took pictures of the camera and showed law enforcement, alleging a peeping tom. Law enforcement was able to identify the product as a secret camera that is sold on Amazon.
Officers went to the victim’s address where she was renting the room and spoke with Pablo, he denied that the camera was operational and gave officers consent to search his dresser and his cell phones.
Officers were able to locate alleged naked pictures of Luisa in the bathroom on the defendant’s phone.
Pablo was arrested charged with felony peeping. During police interrogation police say that Pablo said that he found Luisa attractive.
