An illegal immigrant is charged with murdering a woman at apartments on Central Ave.
Evelin Carolina Enamorado-Cisnado, 26, was murdered on March 10, 2026 at apartments on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC. Lhis Birito Costa, 23, is accused of murdering her.
Evelin was killed after she told Lhis that she was in a relationship with someone else. Lhis is accused of getting angry and then murdering Evelin.
Evelin’s dead body was wrapped in towels and blankets and thrown in a closet. Evelin was in the apartment dead for days. The smell of a dead body began to spread and residents called apartment staff.
The police were called and a master key was used to enter Evelin’s apartment unit, it was then that Evelin was fond dead.
On March 11, 2026 officers located and arrested Lhis in connection with this case. Lhis was charged with murder.
Lhis is an illegal immigrant and ICE lodged a immigration detainer on her following her arrest.
