A daughter witnessed her mother being shot and killed during swimming lessons
A husband is accused of murdering his wife. Carl Watts, 45, is identified as the husband of 30-year-old Shandell Harris. On April 3, 2022 Shandell was murdered in front of her young daughter in North Miami Beach, Florida.
Shandell and her daughter were at swimming lessons at a community center. Shandell’s husband is accused of entering the community center and shooting her to death as her daughter watched in horror.
Carl was arrested shortly after the shooting.
Shandell’s murder was just one day after she had threatened to divorce Carl.
Carl has now been charged with second degree murder and has no bond. Carl is a convicted felon who has been arrested multiple times.
