A Door Dash driver was murdered during snow storm in Charlotte
Kelvin Javier Molina Garcia, 30, is charged with murdering a man in the snow. In the midst of a snow storm in Charlotte, NC John Glenn Martinez, 26, was murdered on Jan. 25, 2026 on Elmin St. John was doing a Door Dash food delivery. Door Dash workers have had many violent altercations on the job.
During the Door Dash delivery, John was shot and killed in the snow. His body lay in the cold snow with his blood dripping. Red blood filled the snow in the area as he was killed on the job.
EMS arrived and pronounced John dead on scene.
Kelvin was arrested on Jan. 27, 2026 in the city of Mesquite, Texas. On February 5, 2026 Kelvin was extradited back to Charlotte and charged with John’s murder.
