Shakeva Dixon, 27, and Maurice Langston, 36, were killed in a murder suicide on February 3, 2026 in Durham, NC. The couple had 2 kids together. Shakeva also had an 3rd child from a outside relationship.
Both Shakeva and Maurice were in a toxic relationship. In the night time hour on February 3rd the couple was killed in a murder suicide shooting. Both victims were shot in the head. At this time it is not clear who killed who.
The kids were not home at the time of the murder. The couple died on scene. The children are now living with family.
There are currently 10,000 loving kids in the North Carolina foster care system, the great grandmother of the victim’s kids said she will not let her great grandchildren go into the foster care system whatsoever.
