Video: Border Patrol agents cant even get along with each other in this chase, no wonder they can’t get along with the public. Cops need anger management
Border Patrol unlawfully started a high speed chase with Miguel Angel Garcia Martinez, 24, just because Miguel was taking pictures and video of them at different arrest scenes, which is not illegal and is a First Amendment Right. The chase was on November 16, 2025 on North Tryon St. and University Blvd. in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
ICE and Border Patrol were in Charlotte to conduct mass deportations and arrest illegal immigrants. Miguel was driving a mobile mechanic van when he was going to different Border Protection stops and using his First Amendment Right to freedom of the press and free speech, taking pictures and video of Border Patrol.

Unconstitutionally, Border Patrol agents did not like that and made a voluntary stop on Miguel, Miguel did not have to stop and talk to Border Patrol agents because he was not breaking the law and he was not being lawfully detained.
Miguel drove off and Border Patrol essentially chased Miguel essentially for no reason. Seconds into the chase a Border Patrol agent is heard telling his co-worker, “I see him dude shut the fuck up”
Several Border Patrol SUVs try to box Miguel in, but he drives around them on the grass, a woman in a black Dodge Charger is seen yelling for Miguel to go left.
Miguel drives in the wrong direction of traffic and speeds through an intersection. Then an agent is heard saying isnt this fun. A Border Patrol says “he is going to get shot, that is whats going to happen.”
The suspect van drives on the wrong side of traffic again, nearly causing multiple accidents. An agent is heard saying “He is going to kill someone”

Then the Border Patrol agent tries to ram into the mechanic van with a pursuit intervention technique, but the agent failed at the attempt, saying “I tried my best, I’m sorry boys”
Another agent yells “Hit him guys, why are you afraid of him, he is going to kill someone.”
The Border Patrol agent even admits that he does not want to try and ram the van anymore. Hence the Border Patrol’s driving skills were terrible.
Ultimately, Miguel was boxed in again by Border Patrol vehicles which forced him to come to a stop. Border Patrol moved in to arrest Miguel.

The woman in the black Dodge Charger followed the high speed chase the entire time and she is heard yelling, “This is a illegal traffic stop!!”

Border Patrol tells her to leave and she says no. Border Patrol then unlawfully point guns and pepper ball guns at the woman and her boyfriend in an attempt to intimidate them, but the couple still stays, the boyfriend is heard saying “We aint going no where.”
Miguel was arrested and is now facing charges of felony assault, resist, or impede a federal officer.
