Samara Sakhnini was stabbed to death, she had chest tattoo, her son had just graduated from NC A&T State University
Samara Sakhnini was murdered in a stabbing attack on November 15, 2025. Her family member Maurice Sakhnini, 41, was arrested accused of murdering her. The murder attack was in Shelby, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Shelby Police and EMS responded to a residence on Seattle St for a reported stabbing. EMS units arrived and found 1 female victim identified as Samara with multiple stab wounds.
The suspect fled on foot, leading to a police pursuit. Officers were able to catch Maurice and arrest him. Samara died on scene.
Samara had kids, her oldest had just graduated from North Carolina A&T State University. It is not known how Samara and Maurice are related via family wise. Samara had a red tattoo on her chest. Mother’s found dead are a common issue.
