A dangerous combination of drugs is what killed Brandon Byers, 40, in Charlotte, NC. Brandon died from a fentanyl overdose. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram. Brandon is a felon and has a history of drug usage.
Brandon died on July 22, 2025 he was found dead behind a gas station in an alley. As it turns out Brandon was in the alley doing drugs and smoking crack cocaine. Brandon was also using methamphetamine and fentanyl.
The dangerous cocktail of drugs caused Brandon to pass out unconscious causing pulmonary edema. An employee at the convenience store was taking out the trash and saw Brandon’s dead body.
EMS was called, and Brandon could not be revived. An autopsy determined Brandon died from the exact drugs that he was using, cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
Brandon’s officials cause of death was drug toxicity due to meth, fentanyl, and cocaine. Brandon spent several years in prison for robbery and larceny.
