Food Babe, Vani Hari is Indian, she takes on the food industry, her dad died from old age recently
Yogeshwar Hari, 84, is the father of the gorgeous Food Babe, she is a personality that broadcasts the unsafe chemicals and ingredients found in everyday foods, her real name is Vani Hari. Yogeshwar died on September 17, 2025 in Charlotte, NC, he was a Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science professor at University of North Carolina Charlotte. Yogeshwar was sick for a while and he was under medical care. He eventually died from old age and medical complications. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab University in India and then moved to the United States to pursue graduate studies.
Yogeshwar had master degrees from Purdue University. His daughter Food Babe earned that name from her husband. He said she is a hot pretty babe that is passionate about food, so then they came up with the name Food Babe. She is very gorgeous.
Food Babe contemplated law school, as she is very smart. But she had a passion to take on the food industry due to unhealthy foods.
Food Babe immigrated to America from India when she was a kid with her family. Food Babe says she was over weight and unhealthy as a teenager, almost to the point that she got very sick and was in the hospital.
She then realized that the everyday foods she was eating in America had made her sick. She went on to college and graduated. Instead of going to law school, she began a blog on social media and created a website calling out different food manufacturing companies and restaurants for unsafe chemicals in their food.
She began making 6 figures from her website and digital revenue. Food Babe gained traction and made the news multiple times doing interviews. Food Babe was even a delegate at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, at the Bill Clinton speech, she screamed out “label GMO’s!!” in a crowd of people while Bill Clinton was speaking multiple times. No one escorted her out or told her to leave.
Food Babe is known for boldness, she was even seen in the news holding a sign saying label GMOs at the DNC 2012. Food Babe even took on Subway restaurants due to a chemical used in their breads, that same chemical was used in yoga mats.
Food Babe made a infomercial of her biting into a yoga mat to make her point. Subway eventually stopped using the chemical in their breads. Food babe is bold and beautiful. She has 2 kids and lives in Charlotte, NC in a luxury multi million dollar neighborhood.
