TEENAGE MOM PLEADS GUILTY TO BREAKING IN CARS

On June 7, 2024 19-year-old Hannah Freeman was convicted after pleading guilty to breaking into several cars in Charlotte, NC. In fact Hannah broke into hundreds of cars. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Hannah is a mother of two children. Hannah broke into more than 200 cars in a crime spree that lasted for months in 2023 throughout Charlotte.

Hannah broke into vehicles in the wealthy areas of south Charlotte and the Dilworth communities. Hannah even stole some of the vehicles and resold them.

Hannah would either pick the locks to the vehicles or break the window glass to steal items in the vehicles.

Hannah and her juvenile co-conspirators were tracked down and arrested in December 2023.

Hannah pled guilty to nine counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle.

Judge Karen Eady Williams sentenced Hannah to 3 consecutive sentences. The first sentence was 4 to 14 months in prison. The other two sentences were also 4 to 14 months in prison, but those two sentences were suspended pending her completion of 30 months of supervised probation.

Hannah will have to serve prison time if she violates her probation. Hannah was also ordered to pay $3,260 in restitution.
