23-year-old Shadara Williams was arrested on May 24, 2025 on I-85 in Charlotte, NC. She is charged with driving drunk. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A state trooper noticed a vehicle going in and out of lanes on Interstate 85. Shadara was the driver. During a traffic stop Shadara’s eyes were red and she smelled like alcohol according to highway patrol troopers.
Shadara admitted to drinking tequila shots for her birthday. Shadara blew a 0.10 alcohol content on a Intoxilyzer examination.
The suspect was arrested charged with failing to maintain lane, reckless driving, and DWI.
