COP SHOT NEAR CHARLOTTE DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

On July 1, 2024 a Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department cop was shot on Steele Creek Road Charlotte, NC very near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

The cop was shot at 12:30 p.m. At this time it is not known who fired the shots or what the situation was.

The shot cop was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Watch video of a cop being shot in the face.

Several roads are shut down in the area.
