Mykel was brutally murdered in a triple shooting, Mykel has tasted prison before
Terrence Richardson, 37, was arrested on May 7, 2025 accused of murdering Mykel Washington, 26, at the Mini mart on Archdale Dr. Charlotte, NC.
The triple shooting was on May 5, 2025. Mykel and 2 other people were shot in the parking lot of the Mini Mart. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A suspect walked up to the victims and began firing multiple shots. Mykel was shot and died instantly. The second victim was shot also. The third victim was shot and chased inside the store, the suspect continued to shoot at the victim in the Mini Mart aisles.
The suspect then fled. The 2 other victims were taken to the hospital and survived. A city wide alert was sent out to police. The suspect was found at a cheap motel. Terrence was arrested charged with murder and attempted murder.
Mykel was in fact arrested in 2018 accused of murdering a man.
Mykel spent several years in prison for robbery, he was released over the last few years.
