MAN MURDERED IN CHARLOTTE, WAS IN OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY AND PLAYED FOOTBALL AT CHAPEL HILL

60-year-old Darryl Johnson was murdered in a shooting on July 14, 2024. The murder was on Steele Creek Road Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Darryl was shot and killed in the morning hours. Paramedics responded to the scene and declared Darryl dead.

No arrests have been made. Darryl was popular in the community. He attended The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill decades ago where he played football. Darryl was also a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

Cinque Wilson was in the Omega Fraternity and played football at Benedict College, he was killed at homecoming
Trenton died from cocaine toxicity, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Clemson University
Kian Brown died in 2023, he was in the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity
