Brittany Richarson, 34, was arrested on August 23, 2024 accused of nearly shooting her 7-Eleven co-worker to death at the 7-Eleven located at 9501 South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC. Brittany worked at the 7-Eleven.

On August 17, 2024, officers were dispatched to the 7-11 located at 9501 S. Tryon Street in reference to a shooting. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram now.
The male victim was working at the 7 Eleven and had previously told Brittany’s girlfriend that Brittany was flirting with other girls at work.

When the victim showed up for work, Brittany confronted him about what he had told her girlfriend. A teenager was murdered at a 7 Eleven store in 2019.
A verbal altercation ensued. The verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical altercation where pushing and punches took place.
When the fight ended, both parties disengaged and separated from one another. Brittany went to the back of the store and then reapproached the victim.

Brittany is accused of pulling out a black pistol and shot the victim twice. Brittany then left the 7 Eleven.
When officers arrived, they found the male victim lying on the floor bleeding profusely. EMS had to apply a tourniquet to the victim’s leg. The victim’s pinky on his left hand was partially amputated from the other gunshot wound he sustained.

Police arrived and saw the shooting on the store’s video surveillance system. Brittany was arrested several days later on August 23rd after cops found her at a residence, she is charged with assault with deadly weapon and attempted murder.
Legally the victim employee can sue 7-Eleven because the shooting occurred on their business property and in their store, also the shooting was done by a 7-Eleven employee. Legally 7-Eleven becomes responsible for the shooting.
