On August 29, 2024 Michael Fulwiley, 21, pled guilty to second degree murder after killing Ceyonna Morris, 20, in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Ceyonna was a hair stylist, she was shot and killed on December 17, 2022 on Valeview Lane Charlotte, NC. Ceyonna was shot around 6 p.m. She lay on the ground for minutes until an ambulance arrived.
Almost a year later on September 29, 2023, Michael was arrested in Columbia, SC charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
On September 30, 2023, Saniya Heard was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and accessory after the fact of murder in relation to Ceyonna’s homicide, but prosecutors dropped Saniya’s charges with no plea deal.
At his 2024 trial Michael pled guilty to second degree murder, Judge Karen Eady-Williams sentenced him to 192-243 months in prison.
