On August 15, 2019 three male suspects burst into an AllSouth Federal Credit Union in Columbia, SC. The suspects took money and fled; bank employees were able to give a good description of the masked robbers and their vehicle.
A chase ensued that ended in a dead end neighborhood, that is when the suspects jumped out of the vehicle and fired several shots at officers. No officers sustained any injuries.
A bag of stolen money was found in the getaway car. The suspects were eventually apprehended. All three suspects are charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and armed robbery.
