On October 7, 2024 a JJ Fish employee was seen on video shooting and killing 2 customers inside a JJ Fish restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. The employee is identified as 42-year-old Mehdi Medellel.
Mehdi was in an argument with the 2 customers at 10 p.m. Medellel pulled out a handgun and fired shots.
Both customers were shot in the head and died at the scene. The suspect left the restaurant, but was arrested blocks away.
Mehdi is now charged with two counts of first degree murder.
