VICTIM KILLED INSIDE OF AMBULANCE WAS LGBT ADVOCATE

Prentice Bess, 32, (Seen on the far right) is accused of murdering Jeremy Whitted, 34, at a Days Inn motel on 118 East Woodlawn Road Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

On the day of Jeremy’s death, there was a disturbance at the Days Inn motel called in by the on-site security guard at 3:46 a.m. Jeremy was having trouble breathing in the process of being evaluated by paramedics in the back of an ambulance.

While medical personnel were treating Jeremy in their ambulance, the suspect allegedly shot the victim dead while paramedics watched in horror. Prentice was immediately arrested on site.

Jeremy was a huge advocate for LGBT issues.
