BROWNLEE JEWELERS ROBBED ALONG WITH PAWN SHOPS IN VIOLENT SPREE

Several men conducted a series of armed robberies at jewelry stores and pawn shops across Charlotte, NC from December 2020 through February 2021.

Shortly before 12:45 p.m., on February 5, 2021, a robbery was reported at Brownlee Jewelers located at 4147 Park Road. Two suspects demanded money and jewelry from employees by the threat of a deadly weapon. The suspects got away with cash and jewelry.

On January 25, 2021, at approximately 10:07 a.m., the Cash America Pawn located at 300 E. Woodlawn Road was robbed at gun point. A suspect had entered the business and smashed several display cases with a blunt object. After stealing several items from within the display, the suspect fled the scene.

At 6:04 p.m, on January 21, 2021, there was an armed robbery at Smart Pawn and Jewelry located at 7025 South Blvd. Two suspects armed with deadly weapons walked into the business and smashed several display cases. After stealing property and belongings to the business, the suspects fled the scene. 

National Pawn was robbed on December 1, 2021. The business is located at 5418 South Blvd. Suspects entered National Pawn and threatened employees with a deadly weapon. The suspects stole valuables from the business and then fled the scene. 

Shortly before 5:44 p.m., on December 11, 2020, the Cash America located at 6300 South Blvd was robbed. When officers arrived, they learned that two suspects entered the business and attempted to smash display cases with a blunt object. After several unsuccessful attempts, the suspects fled the scene.

On December 11, 2020, at approximately 6:41 p.m., the National Pawn located at 5030 E. Independence Blvd was robbed. Two suspects entered the business and smashed several display cases with a blunt object. After stealing property from the business, the suspects fled the scene.

The Brownlee Jewelers located at 8546 University City Blvd. was robbed on December 29, 2020. Two suspects entered the business and stole property from the business by the threat of a deadly weapon. One suspect also smashed several display cases and stole jewelry contained within. The suspects then fled the business.
