Thieves broke into Richard’s Auto Body shop business and stole 6 luxury vehicles on December 13, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.
The heist began at 6 a.m. when multiple offenders lifted the garage door up in unison. The garage door was locked but the force of the suspects broke the locks and the crooks gained entry.
Once inside you can see the thieves running in the business looking for keys to vehicles. The suspects find keys and began starting up the vehicles and driving them off the lot as if they paid for them.
Some of the thieves went across the street to the tow yard portion of the auto body shop business and used the stolen keys to crank up vehicles in the tow yard, including a Range Rover SUV.
6 luxury vehicles were stolen in total, 2 vehicles from inside the shop and 4 vehicles from across the street in the tow yard. No arrests have been made.
