NORTH TRYON GAS STATION ROBBED, WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY

On July 12, 2022 Kenyatta Pearson, 28, pled guilty to robbing a Circle K gas station on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC.

In September 2019 around 2 a.m. Kenyatta entered the Circle K and robbed the store at gunpoint demanding cash and other property. The scared clerk employee gave the money to Kenyatta, the suspect then fled.

Kenyatta was arrested sometime afterwards and charged with robbery.

At her 2022 trial, Kenyatta pled guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon. The judge sentenced her to 51-74 months in prison; that sentence was suspended pending her successful completion of 36 months of supervised probation. As a condition of her probation, Kenyatta must spend 28 days in lock-up custody.
