Sania Khan, 29, was murdered by her ex-husband Raheel Ahmed, 36, on July 18, 2022. Raheel shot Sania in the head, and then killed himself in a Chicago, Illinois apartment. Sania was Pakistani American.
Sania and Ahmed were married for less than a year. The two were in a toxic marriage and decided to get a divorce. Ahmed did not take the divorce well and went to Sania’s apartment. Once inside, Ahmed shot Sania in the back of the head with a 9 mm Glock extended clip gun.
Ahmed then committed suicide via a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Cops were called to the apartment after shots were heard. Cops got no answer when knocking on the door, so they breached the door and found Sania and Ahmed dead.
Cops found Sania with a gunshot wound to her head and dried up blood on her face. Ahmed was dead with a gun in his hand and a suicide note next to him.
