On January 17, 2025 a 34-year-old woman identified as Bianca Gebremedhin was killed in a head on collision with a van on The Plaza in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Bianca was driving a Honda on The Plaza on January 17th at 9 in the morning. The preliminary investigation indicates Bianca lost control of her vehicle, failed to maintain lane control, and crashed into a van in the opposing lane of traffic.
A man was driving the van, a juvenile passenger was in the van also. Both vehicles had heavy front end damage. Paramedics transported Bianca to Novant Presbyterian Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
A pastor’s daughter died after colliding with a box truck
Bianca died at the hospital. The occupants of the van were injured and survived. It is unknown why Bianca lost control.
