Welp folks she did it again. This is Tajhzna’s second DWI in one year. Both times her kid was in the car while she was allegedly drunk. Child custody? Maury who is the father?
Tajhzna Johnson, 32, was arrested on July 23, 2026 charged with DWI and child abuse in Huntersville, NC for the second time in a year.
We will start with the most DWI. On July 23, 2026 at 12:46 am, a police sergeant observed a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. The car was being driven by Tajhzna. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The cop stopped to check on the occupants of the vehicle before the vehicle rapidly accelerated in a 35 mph zone before getting onto US 21 northbound.
The vehicle left its lane of travel twice by crossing into the grassy shoulder and kicking up dust. The sergeant activated emergency lights in an attempt to stop Tajhzna.
The vehicle failed to heed blue lights and siren before ultimately stopping approximately a half mile later. Officer Cadwallader was also on scene once the vehicle stopped.
Officer Cadwallader observed an unsecured child roaming around the interior of the car Tajhzna was in.
Tajhzna was disregarding documentation requests from police and became increasingly belligerent. Officer Cadwallader detected a strong heavy and consistent odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from Tajhzna.
Her speech was heavily slurred. Tajhzna advised she drank wine prior. Tajhzna was unable to control her emotional state, she screamed at officers on scene and continued to use abusive language throughout the encounter.
Like a big girl Tajhzna refused all roadside testing. Tajhzna was arrested for DWI and transported to the Huntersville Police Department for a breath test where she refused to provide a breathalyzer sample. She was then arrested charged with child abuse and DWI.
