Customer service is not the same as it use to be. These days Wendy’s employees shoot guns at customers.

Two Wendy’s restaurants have closed recently in Charlotte due to poor customer service, poor sales, and sub quality food. They are the West Sugar Creek and Mint Hill locations.

The first Wendy’s to close was the one on West Sugar Creek, which closed in September 2024. That Wendy’s is in a high crime area, known for crack cocaine addiction and prostitutes. Some women of the night would even go to the restrooms with people wanting sexual services.

The area has many murders and shootings. Street drug sales are normal. Various internet videos shows the ghetto encounters at the restaurant. A customer even brandished a gun at a Wendy’s employee during an argument on West Sugar Creek.

The second Wendy’s to close in the Charlotte area was the Wendy’s on 6849 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. That Wendy’s was always doing bad on food safety inspections, they often scored B’s and C’s which to most people is an F in the restaurant world. The Wendy’s closed in December 2024.
On another occasion flies were at the Wendy’s in the kitchen and dining room.
Even a roach was found by the french fries at the same Wendy’s.
