A Walmart cashier on South Tryon St allegedly stole $700 in 6 days, she cried during arrest
On May 15, 2025, a Walmart employee identified as Jeniffer Sanchez-Rosado, 24, was arrested accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from the cash register. Jenifer was employed at the Walmart on 8180 South Tryon St. Charlotte, NC. Walmart news deals with many thefts and crimes.
Loss Prevention officials at Walmart began realizing that Jeniffer’s cash register was coming up short with missing money. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Walmart then began a secret investigation on Jennifer.
Loss Prevention saw on video that Jennifer allegedly would complete cash transactions at the register and pocket $50 bills at a time.
From May 1st to May 9th Jennifer is accused of stealing $700 in cash. In fact on May 8th Jennifer stole $250 cash from the cash register, prosecutors say.
Jennifer was employed as a cashier during each incident and entrusted with the money inside
of the cash register during her duty hours.
Walmart has written policy against employee’s stealing. On May 15, 2025 Loss prevention employees concluded their investigation and talked with store management. Police were called to the Walmart and told about the alleged thefts.
Jennifer was called into the office and arrested on the job. Jennifer was crying, she was charged with multiple counts of larceny by employee.
