Watch a teen get shot at with an AK-47 at a gas station parking lot
On September 19, 2025, at 2:56 a.m., a teenager was shot at an Exxon Gas Station in Memphis, Tennessee on Kirby Parkway.
Video surveillance from the gas station showed two black males entering the business before the shooting and openly carrying an AK-47 gun.
When the suspects exited the business, they approached the teenage victim and engaged in a brief verbal exchange. The suspect with the gun fired at the teen, striking the victim in the abdomen.
The suspects fled the scene. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his abdomen.
Memphis Fire Department Unit 33 transported the victim to Le Bonheur Hospital in critical condition. The victim survived.
