Video of man set on fire. Another freedom activist with mental health issues set his body ablaze, making himself a human torch
Lobga Rangzen is the man that committed suicide by way of setting himself on fire on July 2, 2026. Lobga did this suicide act in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City while holding a Tibetan flag. Lobga was a freedom activist for Tibet. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 6:30 p.m. the victim was live streaming himself via video. Lobga was carrying a Tibet flag, he was protesting China’s presence in Tibet. Lobga sat the camera down and walked to the front of the United Nations headquarters. He stood in the street and poured gasoline on himself.
Lobga then lit himself on fire into a inferno. Passing vehicles honked their horns. Other people alerted security guards. Within around 45 seconds the guards came running with fire extinguishers and sprayed Lobga to stop the fire.
But it was too late because Lobga was already dead. China conquered and rules over Tibet. China has ruled over Tibet since 1951 against the will of Tibet.
