Gabriella Muñoz went to black college where she played softball, she died abruptly. So many students at black colleges have died this year
Livingstone College student athlete Gabriella Muñoz died on July 10, 2026 on or near the college campus in Salisbury, NC. Gabriella is originally from Katy, Texas. She came to Livingstone College on a sports scholarship for softball. She played softball at the school and was a sophomore. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

It is unknown exactly why Gabriella chose to go to the black college for her collegiate softball career. Nevertheless, Gabriella had a 4.0 GPA. Gabriella was pretty and had a nice smile. Multiple students at black colleges have died lately, click here to see the many. Livingstone College is listed as a Historically Black College University. The aforementioned is commonly referred to as an HBCU.
Gabriella was found dead in her college residence. At this time foul play is not suspected, but her official cause of death has not been ruled on yet. Counseling services will likely be made for students, staff, and her teammates.
Even 2 students were murdered on the campus of South Carolina State University during a triple shooting.
A student at Tuskegee University died also.
After an autopsy is completed Gabriella’s dead body will likely be shipped back to Texas for her funeral.
