Hilarious video shows a cop breaking his leg after falling off a commercial truck in Walmart trying to be a hero, truck driver sped off
On February 28, 2026 a cop broke his leg after being thrown off of an 18-wheeler truck at a Walmart in Springfield, Ohio. The truck driver is identified as 34-year-old Jeffrey Latson.
Jeffrey was in a IHOP restaurant screaming and yelling for no reason. Customers called police on him. Jeffrey then got in his commercial truck and drove to a Walmart parking lot. Walmart always makes the news for crazy things happening on their property.
Cops approached him and tried to get him out of the truck. Jeffrey was not having it and he took off with the cops hanging on. Jeremy then used the force of the powerful truck to throw the cop off.
The cop then lost grip and fell off the truck, breaking his leg right in the Walmart parking lot. The cop also suffered a concussion.
Jeffrey then led cops on a chase, but he drove out of their jurisdiction and they loss sight of him. Cops radioed in to police departments in the new jurisdiction and the suspect was spotted again.
The suspect rammed civilian vehicles in the second chase and then ran from the scene. Cops shot the suspect and he was arrested.
He is charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor.
