A wild shootout at the Quality Inn motel in Denver, Colorado occurred on June 7, 2023. Nicholas Lendrum, 35, shot a police officer with the Denver Police Department several times with a Glock. Nicholas was killed in return.
Surveillance footage depicts exactly what happened. At 4 a.m. Nicholas walks in the Quality Inn. The cop is sitting in his patrol car in the parking lot.
Nicholas walks out of the motel and immediately begins firing shots at the officer with a Glock. The officer was shot 3 times total, once in the torso and twice in the back.
The cop rolls out of the vehicle and shots back, repositioning to the other side of the police vehicle.
The cop fired several shots at Nicholas, killing him.
Nicholas fired a Glock brand 9 mm handgun 18 times at the officer, Nicholas was also armed with a revolver.
