Charlotte Area Transit System bus driver Ethan Rivera, 41, was murdered on the job while driving a city bus in Charlotte, NC video shows. Darian Dru Thavychith, 21, was arrested and charged with Etahn’s murder.
Ethan was shot in the head on West Trade Street Charlotte, NC on February 11, 2022 during a road rage encounter where Ethan was the victim.
Ethan and the suspect exchanged profane language with one another. The SUV driver then shot Ethan in the head and sped off.
The bus crashed into another vehicle in a parking lot. 911 was called and paramedics rushed Ethan to Atrium Main hospital. Ethan died on February 12, 2022 while receiving treatment at the hospital.
On March 1, 2022 Darian was arrested and charged with murder. Ethan was a father with young children.
