This is the second murder in uptown Charlotte this week
A homicide in center city Charlotte, NC transpired on September 13, 2026 on East Trade St. near the Spectrum Center basketball arena. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The murder was at 12 noon. The victim was shot multiple times outside the Spectrum Center. An ambulance was called and rushed the victim to the hospital where they died.
This is the second murder in uptown Charlotte this week, earlier a police officer was murdered during a fight over women.
In August 2026 a spoken word rapper was murdered in uptown Charlotte too.
