The homicide rate in Charlotte is out of control. There was another homicide on Griffith Rd. on July 9, 2024 marking the fourth homicide in just 24 hours.
The Griffith Rd. homicide was at 1 a.m. near a strip club. The victim was shot and killed.
Hours before that a victim was murdered in a quadruple shooting on Parker Drive.
Derrick Byas, 36, was shot and killed in a homicide on Rea Road.
And after that a victim was shot and killed on Cinnabay Drive.
No arrests have been made in any of the homicides.
