On February 11, 2025 Demetry Rorie, 22, was arrested charged in the homicide of Apree Leak, 22. The victim was murdered at a Circle K gas station on South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 3:30 a.m., on November 12, 2024 Apree was shot while in his vehicle. The victim or someone in his vehicle was able to flag down an ambulance at the Circle K. Paramedics attempted resuscitation efforts, but Apree died. Demetry was arrested on February 11, 2025 charged with Apree’s murder.
