On January 14, 2024 a man committed suicide at East Meck High School on Monroe Road Charlotte, NC.
At 7:30 a.m. the male victim some how got on the roof at the school and killed themself. It is not known if the individual jumped from the roof or shot themself. The victim was having a mental health crisis.
The victim is a former student of East Mecklenburg High School, he attended the school in 2016.
