Two adult males were shot inside the Le Meridian Hotel located at 555 South McDowell Street Charlotte, NC on the evening of July 5.
The shooting appears to have occurred in a hallway. The victim has serious injuries and is being transported to the hospital.
A second male victim was located. He was running from the scene and was located near Interstate 277. This individual received a bullet wound to his ear and is being transported to the hospital for treatment.
A potential suspect is detained.
At this time there is not a known motive. Officers and detectives are interviewing witnesses to learn more information.
