TEENAGER SHOT IN HEAD, MAN MURDERS POLICE OFFICER’S SON

In June 2022 Mangasha Clark, 24, pled guilty to the murder of 14-year-old Anthony Frazier. The murder was in Charlotte, NC. Anthony was the son of a police officer in Kannapolis. Mangasha will now spend several years in prison.

Anthony was shot in the head on January 2, 2017 on Finchley Drive in Charlotte after a birthday party. Anthony was in the car with his aunt, as they were pulling up to a house to park, Mangasha and another man were in the bushes hiding.

The two men popped out of the bushes, and Mangasha began firing. Anthony was shot in the head, and the 2 suspects ran.

Anthony’s Aunt then drove to the 7-11 on Eastway Drive for help. Anthony was rushed to the hospital, but he later died. 

Several months later on April 11, 2017, Mangasha was arrested and charged with murder. His co-defendant was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The trial began on June 6, 2022. During the presentation of evidence, Mangasha entered a guilty plea to second degree murder. Mangasha was then sentenced to 150-192 months in prison.

Mangasha’s co-defendant is still at trial.
