On May 18, 2020 a 15-year-old was shot and killed on Briarhill Drive Charlotte, NC near Milton Road.
The shooting occurred nearby in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The 15-year-old juvenile male victim was inside a vehicle that had ran off the roadway. The victim had been shot and was transported by medics to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. Representatives from the CMPD’s Operations Command, CMPD’s Special Victims Unit, CFD and MEDIC also assisted.
