Dwaine Thomas, 17, was shot and killed on May 16, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama. Dwaine was a senior at Carver High School and was expected to graduate at the end of May 2022.
Dwaine got into a fight with other men at the parking lot of an apartment building. During the fight a suspect pulled out a gun and began shooting, Dwaine was shot and died on the scene. Police arrived at the scene as the shots were being fired.
Cops chased several suspects, but they got away in a blue sedan. Dwaine played baseball and was in the process of getting a athletic scholarship to college.
